August 1933
This booklet, produced by the Independent Order of St. Luke in 1933, contains a series of speeches Mrs. Walker gave to the Order's Juvenile Department over seven years. As Grand Matron and co-founder of the Juvenile Department, Mrs. Walker constantly expanded its programs and ensured the youth's active membership. Their motto was "As the twig is bent the tree is inclined." Walker believed that the community was responsible for cultivating the youth to make them productive members of society.
